Melissa lives and breathes design, honing her talent over ten years as Creative Director for some of Australia’s best known lifestyle magazines, including House & Garden, Prevention and Notebook. Her passion for publishing began during her time producing cookbooks for the delicious. brand.
As director of King Street Press, Melissa applies her editorial eye to every project, creating crisp, and engaging content for an eclectic client list.
Since founding the company in 2014, she has overseen its expansion into brand creation, project photography, publishing, styling and web design and travels regularly overseas to study international trends design and bespoke publishing and has recently trained in the emerging field of User Experience Design, which puts people at the centre of the creative processes, shaping concepts and solving problems that are core to your customers’ need.
A fine arts graduate, Melissa exhibits her own photography and is an avid reader on every aspect of art-making, design and creative industry.
In everything she does, Melissa’s goal is to help creative prosper. For artists, entrepreneurs, authors and craftspeople, Melissa knows just how valuable good design can be.

Rachel is the ultimate multi-hyphenate, a graphic designer, slash brand strategist, slash interior architect who began her career in the film industry.
Prior to joining King Street Press, Rachel ran her own Interior Design business, Nook Creative, that remodelled multi-million dollar properties in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. Earlier she was part of the award-winning team at Coop Creative, creating beautiful spaces for private and public clients and was part of the rebrand of the McDonalds chain of restaurants.
To create compelling brand identities for her clients, Rachel draws on her unique combination of design savvy, commercial understanding and technical expertise, and follows the principles of User Experience Design.
As a maker, Rachel creates pieces for the home, using her own pattern design, and will soon release a range of concept lighting.
Born in New Zealand, Rachel travels back to Auckland on a regular basis for work and play.
